Annivalentine
Yesterday Mrs. Right-brane and I will have been married for exactly 3 months. No, make that 3 «wonderful» months.
To celebrate, we had a lovely, long(!) dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant, Domani Star. For the curious, our prix fixe selections were:
- grilled polenta with that mountain Gorgonzola sauce we love
- fried veal polpettine
- an excellent arugula salad with carpaccio of apple, walnuts, an orange vinaigrette and a Camembert crostino,
- a carrot soup (with way too much cumin to be good) [Ed. note: Mrs. Rightbrane enjoyed the cuminy carrot soup.]
- a perfectly cooked filet of beef with artichoke and mashed potatoes
- grilled salmon with olives, capers and grape tomatoes
As usual, the meal was great, but (again, as usual) the best part was each others’ company.
